Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be local to book?
Not for an online consultation, though your prescriber will confirm they are able to treat you. Face-to-face appointments are available only where a practice location is listed above.
Can I choose a phone consultation?
Where the prescriber offers it, yes. Your prescriber will advise if video or an in-person appointment would be more suitable.
Will I always get a prescription?
No. The consultation fee pays for a clinical assessment. A prescription is issued only when it is clinically appropriate.
Where can I collect my medication?
If a private prescription is issued, you will be told how and where it can be dispensed.
